A few years ago, I found myself feeling overwhelmed, constantly stressed, and realising I had put my own well-being on the back burner for far too long. I was always “too busy” for self-care, and my mental health suffered as a result. One day, it finally hit me: I couldn’t keep pushing myself without a pause. I needed to start taking care of me
I began exploring self-care practices — small, simple routines to calm my mind and reconnect with myself. I tried mindfulness, journaling, and gentle rituals that allowed me to slow down and breathe. Over time, these small acts of self-care became powerful tools that helped me find balance, clarity, and peace.
This journey changed me, and I knew I wanted to help others discover the same benefits of caring for their mental and emotional well-being. That’s why I created The SelfCare Lounge — to offer services and eventually resources that make self-care feel approachable, nurturing, and meaningful.
